This was taken at the Jökulsárlón lagoon in Iceland. The lagoon funnels pieces of glacier out into the ocean, resulting in a black covered beach covered with Ice Formations. It is one of the most spectacular sights not just in Iceland, but in all of the places I have been to. This image features a piece of ice still in the lagoon, fighting the current from pulling it downstream to the ocean. I used a long exposure to slow down the water, creating an abstract quality to the ripples of water against the ice.
